Díaz Bonilla ruled out for three weeks

Joaquín Díaz Bonilla has been ruled out for three weeks. The starting Jaguares was injured in this evening’s home Super Rugby match against the Chiefs in Buenos Aires, being replaced in the second half by Santiago González Iglesias.

In the absence of Díaz Bonilla Head Coach Gonzalo Quesada needs to consider not only who will be the starting fly half but also who will tour South Africa. Los Jaguares will play away to the Bulls, and Sharks over the coming two weekends.

In prior matches utility Juan Cruz Mallía has been an option. Another in the frame is Domingo Miotti who trained with Los Jaguares this past week in Buenos Aires. Both are expected to be named on the roster.

Díaz Bonilla’s injury means his next possible match will be the round 11 home fixture against the Brumbies on April 27.
