European Champions Cup – Quarter Finals Preview

The European Champions Cup will see the four Quarter Finals played this coming weekend. On Saturday, and Sunday matches will be played in England, France, Ireland, and Scotland. The four winning teams will advance to the final four. The following preview notes the involvement of Americas’ players in Saturday and Sunday’s Quarter Finals.

On Saturday Saracens play host to the Glasgow Warriors. The England vs Scotland club fixture doubles as an English Premiership vs Pro 14 clash. Named on the bench for the hosts is Titi Lamositele, a player to underline for the USA for this year’s Rugby World Cup.

The other game involving Americas’ players is a French derby on Sunday. Parisian side Racing 92 will play host to Toulouse with Juan Imhoff playing on the left wing. The veteran of RWCs 2011, and 2015 remains Argentina’s leading winger though politics have kept him out of Los Pumas in 2016-present. ARN projects a major role for him in Japan later this year.
