MLR Full Match – Houston SaberCats vs NOLA Gold

The Houston SaberCats played host to the New Orleans Gold on Saturday evening at Constellation Field. Houston entered the match on a four-game losing streak, while NOLA had only lost once in their five matches. It was an entertaining contest but one tainted by an unsavory incident late in the game that saw two SaberCats sent off.

Santiago Arata was starting for Houston after returning from international duty, with fellow Uruguayan Diego Magno handed his first start at lock. The Gold were back at full strength thanks to the arrival of Hubert Buydens, Ignacio Dotti, Kyle Baillie, and Cam Dolan.
