Super Rugby Highlights – Stormers vs Jaguares

In a performance with many negatives and few positives Los Jaguares fell to their biggest loss of the year. The Friday fixture saw the Argentine side starting well only to fall rapidly as the home side took control, asking serious questions of many players.

In addition to the scoresheet additional concerns from the match included injuries to Bautista Delguy, Martín Landajo, and Tomás Lavanini. All three are in doubt to face the Chiefs in Los Jaguares’ next fixture will will be in two weeks time.

A lot of thought will be required ahead of the match against the Chiefs. Perhaps the leading issue raised against the Stormers is who to play at 10 and 12? Joaquín Díaz Bonilla had his worst match in Super Rugby while Bautista Ezcurra was highly pedestrian. Neither player performed near the required level.
