Kremer Hands Jaguares A Problem

Marcos Kremer has handed Los Jaguares a problem. The starting flanker has suffered a fracture at the base of hid third metacarpal in his left hand which rules him out of facing the Stormers this coming Saturday.

It sees Gonzalo Quesada’s injury list growing. Scrum-half Gonzalo Bertranou is out for the season; Jerónimo de la Fuente, and Agustín Creevy are out of the current tour to South Africa; and Matías Orlando, Emiliano Boffelli are on tour but unable to train at 100%.

In training on Monday Kremer was part of the starting formation. He joined Pablo Matera, and Tomás Lezana as the starting back-row. With Kremer now out it is likely that Lezana will move from N8 to flanker with Javier Ortega Desio returning to start.

Ortega Desio was rested against the Lions. In total there were 11 changes for the match from the line-up that started against the Blues one week earlier in Buenos Aires.

The roster in South Africa contains veteran Juan Manuel Leguizamón and regular and rookie Rodrigo Bruni. The latter has been favored to the veteran so far this season by Quesada.
