Tomasin and Braid named in Vancouver Dream Team

Despite having no side place higher than 4th, the Americas have had two players selected to the official HSBC Dream Team for the Vancouver Sevens. The USA’s Stephen Tomasin gets the nod for the second consecutive tournament while Connor Braid is named from 10th-place Canada.

Tomasin continues to make his case for inclusion in the overall season Dream Team after another outstanding showing for the USA. He is joined in the forwards by powerful Samoan Tofatu Solia and South Africa standout JC Pretorius.

The backs are headlined by Braid, who who his second consecutive DHL Impact Player award and also finished second in the scoring race. South Africa’s Selvyn Davids was the top scorer and earns selection along with sensational French duo Stephen Parez and Jean-Pascal Barraque.
