ARC Highlights – USA vs Canada

The final round of the 2019 ARC saw the USA competing a great escape against Canada in Seattle. The Friday evening fixture saw Canada pushing the Eagles to the brink and appearing to be on course for victory before a final twist.

Ultimately the match went down 30-25 in favor of the Eagles. It was a game with seven tries in all, quite remarkable considering the bitter cold winter lashing down on the field throughout.

Among the scorers for the home side was Joe Taufete’e. The Californian grabbed a double to increase his world record. His prolific scoring has him now up to 20 test tries from 22 caps. This makes him rugby’s first ever front-rower to score 100 test match points.
