Durutalo named Man of the Match for Ealing

Former Eagles flanker Andrew Durutalo earned Man of the Match honors for Ealing in their 22-14 win over Hartpury on Saturday. While he didn’t get his name on the scoring sheet, the 31-year-old was a strong presence throughout the match with his powerful ball carrying and a few thumping tackles in defense.

Durutalo confirmed his retirement from international rugby in May of 2018. Having established himself as a world class player on the HSBC Sevens Series, he also won 22 caps for the Eagles XVs squad which included selection to the 2015 World Cup. He has since been a regular alongside current Eagles lock Ben Landry in the Ealing side.

Trailfinders are current in second place on the RFU Championship table with 13 wins from 16 matches. London Irish are leading the way with 15 wins and are 10 points ahead of Ealing with a return to the Premiership inching closer.
