Jones returns for Canada in Las Vegas

Harry Jones will make his first appearance of the 2018-19 HSBC Sevens Series as he returns from injury to line up for Canada in Las Vegas. Last year’s captain reprise that role just yet as record points-scorer Nathan Hirayama continues to wear the armband in Vegas.

There is one further additions to the Canadian side as forward Admir Cejvanovic also comes back in after missing the Pacific leg. Dropping out of the traveling 13 are youngsters Josiah Morra and Brock Webster.

Canada are currently in 11th spot on the Men’s Standings after four tournaments. They have been drawn in Pool A along with Spain, Samoa, and World Cup champions New Zealand.

The three-day tournament begins on Friday evening with all matches to be streamed live on the CBC Sports website.
