ARC Highlights – Canada vs Chile

Canada hosted and easily defeated Chile in a third round ARC fixture this past Friday. The 56-0 result was the first time in this year’s tournament that a team has been held scoreless.

Los Cóndores were thoroughly outplayed with Canada smartly turning opportunities into points. Kyle Baillie crossed in the second minute of play and three further tries would be scored in the opening half. Encouraging for Canada was that Ciaran Hearn had a solid evening from the kicking-tee landing 6/7.

Both teams return to the field this coming weekend. Canada remain at home to face the Argentina XV on Friday in Langford, BC. Chile, meanwhile, remain on the road with a visit to Jundiaí, one hour north of São Paulo.
