Kainoa Lloyd has been named Player of the Week for Round 3 of the Americas Rugby Championship. The 24-year-old winger scored three tries in the first half of Canada’s 56-0 win over Chile on Langford. It was his first hat trick at international level in the 9th appearance for his country.
Lloyd is expected to start against the Argentina XV on Friday evening. A product of the Mississauga Blues, Queen’s Golden Gaels, and the Ontario Blues, he made his official Major League Rugby debut for the Toronto Arrows in the season opener against the NOLA Gold.
