MLR Highlights – Utah Warriors vs Glendale Raptors

Two of last year’s Semi Finalists went head-to-head on Saturday as the Utah Warriors hosted the Glendale Raptors on a cold night at Zions Bank Stadium. It was the first home match of the season for the Warriors and a chance for both sides to get back on track after mixed results to open their 2019 Major League Rugby accounts.

The Warriors handed a first start to Eagles flyer Gannon Moore in the midfield and also gave Tonga ‘A’ rep Sione Ika a chance to show his talent at scrumhalf. Glendale were absent their three big USA stars but had Robbie Petzer at inside center for the first time and Max de Achaval made his first appearance of the season from the bench.
