Premiership Rugby – Week 14 Preview

It’s slim picking for Americas players in the England Premiership this week with just four suiting up. Three come from Argentina with the other returning from international duty with the USA.

There will be no AJ MacGinty for Sale Sharks this week as the Eagles flyhalf is nursing an ankle injury, but Titi Lamositele will play for Saracens against Gloucester. Having played on both sides of the scrum this season, he will act as loosehead cover against Gloucester on Friday evening.

The second-ranked Exeter Chiefs will face the basement-dwelling Newcastle Falcons on Saturday. Santiago Cordero gets a rare start at fullback for the favorites with only one of his 18 starts this season coming in the No15 shirt. Santiago Socino is the replacement hooker for Newcastle.

It will be a memorable occasion for Facundo Gigena on Sunday. The former Jaguares prop gets his first Premiership start as the Leicester Tigers travel to Worcester. Gigena has played a dozen senior matches across all competitions this season but his only two previous starts were in the Cup competition.
