Jaguares send four to Argentina XV

Jaguares coach Gonzalo Quesada has sent four of his training group to join the Argentina XV for the remainder of the Americas Rugby Championship. Set to see game time are loosehead prop Javier Díaz, hooker Diego Fortuny, second row Lucas Paulos, and flyhalf Domingo Miotti.

The quartet add considerable strength to an already potent roster that is now in pole position to reclaim the ARC title after their dominant win over the US Eagles in Round 2. Fortuny and Paulos replace Gaspar Baldunciel and Franco Molina whose form in the opening rounds have seen them recalled to the Jaguares roster, while Miotti takes the roster place of suspended fullback Santiago Carreras.

Díaz is returning from a long-term knee injury that ruled him out of the Rugby Championship and November internationals after he started all three tests for Los Pumas in June. He is one of seven props named in the group that will prepare for the remaining matches against Uruguay, Canada, and Chile.
