Hooley helps Bedford to big win over Scottish

Will Hooley’s return from injury was a successful one. The US Eagles flyhalf was back in the driving seat for Bedford Blues on Saturday and managed to get through a full 80 minutes of work in the 35-17 road win over London Scottish.

While he was not the goal kicker on this occasion, Hooley played a direct role in two tries. A flat miss pass created space for Ryan Hutler to score Bedford’s first and then a cheeky grubber ahead on a counter-attack popped up perfectly for Richard Lane.

Having proved his fitness Hooley will now depart for the USA where he will suit up for the Eagles in the North American leg of the Americas Rugby Championship. Video highlights below are courtesy of Bedford Blues Rugby.
