Pro 14 – Week 15 Preview

The Pro 14 resumes this weekend with a full round of competition. With it falling during the Six Nations competition there are to be weakened line-ups as players are rested between rounds two and three of the Western European Championship. The following preview details the involvement of players from the Americas.

This weekend will see limited representation. In Scotland on Friday Juan Pablo Socino will be looking for game time for Edinburgh. He has been named as a replacement for this team’s home match against Welsh region the Dragons.

In Wales the Cardiff Blues will play host to the Glasgow Warriors. The Scottish side will feature USA forward David Tameilau. The former Pro Rugby player is a hopeful for RWC 2019.

In Italy on Saturday Tomás Baravalle will start against Leinster. The former Argentina XV hooker will be joined in Benetton Treviso’s 23 by former Italian test forward Robert Barbieri, a native of Toronto.
