English Premiership – Week 13 Preview

With no Six Nations matches this weekend the domestic leagues return in Europe. In the case of the English Premiership this will see week 13 of the season being played. The following preview documents the involvement of players from the Americas.

On Saturday Gloucester will have home advantage against the Exeter Chiefs. The visitors have named Puma Santiago Cordero to start on the right wing.

On Saturday the Northampton Saints will take on the Sale Sharks at Franklin’s Gardens. Starting for the visitors will be AJ MacGinty. The USA starting 10 is back in England following international duty against Chile and the Argentina XV in South America.

In Bath the Newcastle Falcons will be looking to improve their underwhelming season. Included on the bench is the uncapped Santiago Socino. The Argentine flanker has converted to hooker since becoming a professional player in England.

In the final fixture Saracens host the Leicester Tigers in London. Both clubs have named replacement props from the Americas. Titi Lamositele is back from the Americas Rugby Championship while the one time capped Puma Facundo Gigena will have an opportunity for the Tigers.
