The NOLA Gold put their undefeated start to the 2019 Major League Rugby season on the line against the defending champion Seattle Seawolves on Sunday. For two sides provided a full 80 minutes of entertainment in a back-and-forth fixture loaded with open, attacking rugby.
Uruguay lock Ignacio Dotti made his regular season debut for New Orleans while Nick Feakes was handed his first start at flyhalf. Seattle had to contend without star flanker Vili Toluta’u and gave Eric Duechle his first start of the campaign while welcoming back Ben Cima to the run-on side.
