Draw revealed for Las Vegas Sevens

The draw for what will reportedly be the last edition of the Las Vegas event on the HSBC Sevens Series has been confirmed. Next year’s USA Sevens event is set to take place in a new venue as World Rugby looks to freshen up the circuit.

Four Americas teams will be participating across the North American leg of the circuit. The Men’s Eagles are top seeds in Pool B and will be joined by South America’s only core side Argentina. France and Kenya round out the pool.

Canada will play in Pool A along with Spain, Samoa, and Sydney champions New Zealand. The fourth Americas team is Chile who earned their spot as the invitational 16th side by winning the Sudamérica Sevens Series. They are in Pool C with England, South Africa, and Japan.

Olympic champions Fiji headline Pool D. They will compete against Australia, Wales, and Scotland.

The three-day tournament kicks off on March 1.
