Bosch crosses for textbook Hooker’s try

Facundo Bosch crossed for a textbook hooker’s try against Bordeaux. The try was scored this past weekend in Agen’s away match against Bordeaux in the Top 14.

Bosch was a replacement in the fixture, coming on to play in his natural position of hooker. The score saw Bosch throwing into a line-out, getting into position at the base of a maul, moving forward until it was halted and then breaking away to score.

In 2018 Bosch made his test debut for Argentina. It came as a replacement in Los Pumas’ win over South Africa in the Rugby Championship. The Agen hooker was called-in from France to cover for Julian Montoya. It confirmed Bosch as being among the top three Argentine hookers and makes him a strong bet for a place at RWC 2019.

Next season Bosch will be playing at a different club. His professional career has involved Los Jaguares and Agen and will continue at La Rochelle.
