The Seattle Seawolves and Glendale Raptors went toe-to-toe at a sold-out Starfire Stadium on Sunday in a rematch of the 2018 Major League Rugby final. It was an exhilarating match from start to finish, the perfect way to cap a memorable opening weekend of the 2019 season.
Seattle featured several new players including Fijian international Api Naikatini and US Eagles flyhalf Ben Cima. The Raptors had their own Eagles recruits in flankers Brendan Daly and Hanco Germishuys, while exciting new fullback Dylan Taikato-Simpson made his regular season debut.
