Pro 14 – Week 13 Preview

With the end-of-year holiday festivities out of the way the Pro 14 returns. In week 13 of the season matches are to be played on Saturday and Sunday in Italy, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. The following preview details the involvement of Americas’ players.

Three Saturday fixtures are to feature players from Argentina and the USA. In Italy Benetton Treviso have home advantage against the Glasgow Warriors. The Italians go into the match with Tomás Baravalle named as their replacement hooker.

In Wales the Ospreys host the Cardiff Blues in a derby. Starting for the visitors will be USA Eagles captain Blaine Scully. The Californian will play in his usual club position of the right wing.

In Scotland Edinburgh host former South African Super Rugby franchise the Southern Kings. The Scots have given a start to Juan Pablo Socino. The RWC 2015 Puma will play at inside center.

Back in Italy on Sunday Zebre play host to the Cheetahs in Parma. Two Argentine players are to start for the home side. Nicolás de Battista will play at inside center while Eduardo Bello is to play at tight head.
