Germany Set for Punta del Este and Viña del Mar

International rugby competition for 2019 begins this coming Saturday. Punta del Este, Uruguay is to be the setting for Uruguay’s annual tournament the Seven Punta. Competing will be twelve countries, one of which is Germany.

Germany’s Sevens team, the Wolfpack are to compete in both legs of the 2019 Sudamérica Rugby Sevens Series – doing so in Punta del Este, Uruguay and Viña del Mar, Chile.

For the Seven Punta Germany are to compete in Pool A. The Wolfpack are to be up against Chile, Paraguay and the USA Falcons. They join Portugal, Russia, and South Africa as competitors from outside of the Americas.
