Happy holidays from ARN!

Americas Rugby News would like to thank each and every one of our readers for another great year. This was our fourth year of being and 2019 was by far our busiest to date.

On the social media front we saw close to a 50% increase in our Facebook followers and Twitter grew by almost a third. Just a couple weeks we launched our Instagram page… we still don’t know what you’re supposed to do with the thing but it’s there, so you might as well follow us!

We spruced up the place a little bit just ahead of the November test window, with a new logo and front page. Perhaps our most significant addition was the new ARN Podcast, which will start back up again in January with some great guests so be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already.

In terms of the Americas it was also the biggest yet. The Americas Rugby Championship was exciting as ever, the Americas Rugby Challenge started up, Brazil won the new Sudamérica 6 Naciones, the Rugby World Cup Sevens was hosted in San Francisco, the Eagles had their best ever year, and Major League Rugby launched in the spring.

It’s fair to say that 2019 will be even bigger! Professional rugby has arrived in Canada with the Arrows in time for MLR Season Two, the ARC is just a few weeks away, it’s Olympic qualifying year on the Sevens circuit, and oh, did someone mention there was a World Cup this year?

Stay tuned for our annual year end awards that will start up tomorrow. In the meantime, kick back and relax with your friends and family. From all of us at ARN, we wish you all the best in this holiday season.
