Poet and Colomiers Down Brive

In the latest round of there Pro D2 Sebastián Poet and Colomiers had a memorable victory. The club defeated Brive 9-6 in what was the final round of France’s second division for 2018. The victory included six points from the Argentine fly half.

The result was a big win for Colomiers who have been struggling this season. The club currently sit in 15th spot and are facing relegation. Brive are in fourth spot but would have been higher with a win over Colomiers.

Leading the competition is Nevers. The former third division side has 51 competition points, three more than the second placed Bayonne. But with there being plenty of rounds remaining a lot could unfold.

The Pro D2 will resume in January. In what is to be week 17 of the season Colomiers are to play away to Oyonnax.
