The pools and fixtures have been released for the upcoming Seven Punta. The 2019 competition is to mark 30 years of the competition in Uruguay’s beach resort town of Punta del Este.
The 12 competing countries are divided into three pools of four. All three pools have two South American countries and two countries from other regions. Both the USA and Canada are to compete which sees the Americas account for eight of the twelve total participants.

The Punta Seven 2019 fixtures are to be late afternoon and well into the evening. The opening fixture will see Los Cóndores 7’s up against Germany at 4:25pm while the final fixture is to be Uruguay vs South Africa at 10:39pm.
Day one will take place on Saturday January 05 with the tournament concluding the following day. Matches for Sunday January 06 will be based on the day one results.
