Kick-Off Times for Americas Rugby Championship 2019

The kick-Off Times for Americas Rugby Championship 2019 have been confirmed. The 2019 edition of the Pan-Americas rugby competition is to be the fourth and the last before RWC 2019.

The Americas is to account for four of the twenty teams competing in Japan 2019. This is a repeat of England 2015 as well as Wales 1999 and Australia 2023. Unlike all prior editions of the Rugby World Cup the 2019 tournament will be the first with a genuine regional structure in place in the years prior to the event.

Canada, Uruguay, and the USA are to all compete in both RWC 2019 and the 2019 Americas Rugby Championship (ARC). Argentina are to join the USA in Pool C in Japan but will play as the Argentina XV in the ARC.

The Argentina XV is an academy side consisting of leading names outside of Los Jaguares, the national side in Super Rugby. As such matches involving the Argentina XV are not capped while all others count towards rankings.

The Argentina XV were the inaugural champions of the ARC while the USA won in both 2017 and 2018. As was the case in prior years all rounds in 2019 will feature three matches. A change now sees a bye round, splitting the competition into two and three rounds of international competition.

With confirmation of the kick-off times for the 2019 ARC made what remains to be announced is the TV coverage of the event. It is to be finalized this month.

Excluding Chile’s two home games the remaining fixtures all have the kick-off times confirmed. The venues for Brazil’s home games are yet to be confirmed but they will be in São Paulo. The kick-off times for the 2019 edition of the Americas Rugby Championship are as follows:
