Americas trio make Dubai Women’s Dream Team

Three North American players have been selected to the official HSBC Dream Team for the women’s bracket of the Dubai Sevens. Canada’s Britt Benn and Bianca Farella are selected as is USA co-captain Lauren Doyle. The top four teams contribute all seven players.

Canada’s second-place finish sees two players earning select honors. Farella finished as the tournament’s top scorer both in points and tries, while Benn scored three times and was a powerful force in the midfield. Doyle was a dominant presence in the USA backline.

Joining Farella in the forwards are New Zealand captain Sarah Goss and super-sub Gayle Broughton. Kelly Brazier is named in the backs along with Australia standout Evania Pelite.
