Kremer Ruled Out of November Internationals

Marcos Kremer has been ruled out of the November Internationals. Two days out from Argentina’s opening match against Ireland the 21-year-old has flown home for personal reasons.

Mario Ledesma’s first choice flanker will play no part in the November Internationals. No replacement has yet been added for the tour. After Saturday’s match against Ireland Los Pumas are to play against France, Scotland, and the Barbarians.

With Kremer missing Ledesma is set to change his pieces. Guido Petti is set to play flanker with Matiás Alemanno joining Tomás Lavanini in the engine room. This selection comes with Ledesma having already cut veterans Juan Manuel Leguizamón and Leonardo Senatore from the tour.

Kremer has been Ledesma’s starting blindside throughout 2018. He held down the position in Super Rugby and in the Rugby Championship, doing so despite just turning 21 during the Rugby Championship.

The loss of Kremer is significant for Ledesma and the team though it is also an opportunity for others. Tomás Lezana, Rodrigo Bruni, and Santiago Grondona are all on the roster. Both Bruni and Grondona are uncapped.
