15 Argentine players are to represent the Sudamérica XV. The composite regional side will play matches against Chile and Paraguay this month, doing so under the direction of former Pumas Head Coach Daniel Hourcade.
The Argentine players selected are to face Chile on Saturday November 10. They are to be joined by players from Colombia, and Uruguay. The match will serve Chile as vital preparation ahead of facing the Maori All Blacks on Saturday November 17.
The 15 players from Argentina involved are noteworthy names. They are fringe options and all are under consideration for the 2019 Super Rugby season. Of them is Enrique Pieretto and Diego Fortuny, front-rowers to have been capped in the Rugby Championship.
Of the backs included the notable names are center Matías Oasdczuk and fly half Domingo Miotti. Both players are certain Jaguares in the making with the latter potentially to be the successor to Nicolás Sánchez for the fly half shirt.
