Cordero Impresses in Exeter Chiefs Loss At Castres

Santiago Cordero impressed in the Exeter Chiefs’ away loss at Castres on Saturday. The English Premiership side fell to a 29-25 defeat against the reigning French champions in a second round fixture of the Champions Cup.

Cordero went over for the opening try of the match. The Argentine speedster ran 30 meters and showed good foot work to fool defenders in the process. He broke two tackles and managed to touch the ball down beside the posts.

The RWC 2015 Puma was wearing the Exeter 11 shirt. Doing so for the opposition was Canadian Taylor Paris. He is expected to feature in the RWC 2019 Repechage Finals next month. It marks an opportunity for him to play at a RWC after he missed out on RWC 2015 and went to RWC 2011 as a 18-year-old but did not receive game time.
