Central American Women’s in Costa Rica

This weekend sees the 2018 Central American Women’s tournament being played in Costa Rica. The Central American Republic will host the two day Women’s Rugby 7’s tournament on Saturday and Sunday.

Taking part are the senior Women’s sides from Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Panama. The fourth competitor is to be Costa Rica’s ‘A’ side and will play as the Barbarians.

On day one the four teams will each play two matches. Guatemala will take-on the Barbarians and Costa Rica while Panama will up up against Costa Rica and the Barbarians. This will leave the match between Guatemala and Panama until Sunday. On Sunday Costa Rica face the Barbarians and the tournament will conclude with the finals based on prior performances.
