RFU Championship – Week 8 Preview

The 8th week of the RFU Championship kicks off on Friday with a match between Yorkshire Carnegie and London Scottish at Headingley. There will be two North American tighthead props on the respective benches. Jake Ilnicki suits up for Carnegie, and Dino Waldren makes his competitive return after recovering from shoulder surgery.

Another Eagles prop, Paul Mullen, is on reserve duty for Doncaster Knights when they host London Irish at Castle Park. Bryce Campbell is on the bench for the visitors.

There are two more USA internationals playing at the Athletic Grounds. Ronnie McLean runs out for home side Richmond while Cam Dolan is in the engine room for opponents Nottingham. Shane O’Leary continues his run at No10 the green and whites.

Segundo Tuculet starts on the wing for Ealing against Coventry, and fellow Argentine Javier Rojas is set to make his Championship bow as a replacement for Cornish Pirates against Bedford on Sunday. Brett Beukeboom captains from lock and Matt Evans start on the wing for the Pirates. The Blues run out Will Hooley at flyhalf.
