Australia weren’t the only team to earn a come-from-behind win in the Rugby Championship on the weekend. New Zealand wrapped up the competition with a 32-30 win over South Africa in Pretoria and did so in dramatic fashion.
The Springboks were keen to follow up their shock win at Wellington with another upset over the All Blacks. A 6-all draw at halftime was clear evidence of the match intensity. South Africa surged ahead and at the hour mark were 17 points to the good but New Zealand clawed back with Richie Mo’unga’s conversion of a late Ardie Savea try securing the famous victory.
