Pro 14 – Week 6 Preview

The Celtic-Italian-South African league continues this weekend. On Friday and Saturday Pro 14 matches will be played in Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales. The following previews thew involvement of Americas’ players.

Two of the three Friday matches in Week 6 will take place in Scotland. In the capital city Edinburgh host the Cheetahs. Named to start at inside center is RWC 2015 Puma Juan Pablo Socino. He may well yet add to his four test caps.

Across in Glasgow the Warriors receive Zebre. A much changed home side has been named. This includes two USA Eagles on the bench. Greg Peterson has been named as Glasgow’s replacement second-row while David Tameilau is covering the back-row. The match will see Tameilau making his Pro 14 debut. Back from injury for the first time this season is Eduardo Bello. He starts at Tight Head for the Italians.

On Saturday former USA age-grade representative Hanno Dirksen will feature in Wales. He has been named on the bench for the Ospreys who face the Scarlets in the battle of West Wales.

In Italy Benetton Treviso take-on the Southern Kings. Named to start at outside center is Juan Ignacio Brex. The uncapped Argentine will play under the captaincy of Robert Barbieri, a Canadian player who is capped by Italy.
