Brache scores Double as Force down reigning Australian Champions

Marcel Brache scored a double as the Western Force downed the reigning Australian champions, Queensland Country. The Force not only claimed the win but did so on the road and handed Queensland Country their first loss of the season.

USA Eagles back, Brache played the match on the right wing. He would run in two tries for the match. The result was won by the Western Force at the death with a conversion giving them a thrilling 42-40 victory.

The win at Bond University Rugby Field saw the team returning to winning ways. In their prior match the Western Force were beaten.

Brach’s double came within three minutes. His first try saw him linking with Andrew Deegan while his second was a simple score which Brache happily accepted.

The Western Force play next on Sunday September 30. They are to do so against the Sydney Rays at UWA Sports Park in Perth, Western Australia.
