English Premiership – Week 4 Preview

Week 4 of the English Premiership will be played this weekend. The six fixtures are to be spread from Friday through Sunday with matches taking place throughout the country. The Americas will have players taking to the field and the following preview details their involvement.

The one Friday fixture of Week 4 sees the Newcastle Falcons hosting the Exeter Chiefs. Named on the bench for the home side is uncapped Argentine Santiago Socino. The former flanker will cover hooker  for the Falcons. Santiago Cordero will start on the right wing for the visitors.

On Saturday Bath entertain the Northampton Saints at the Rec. They are to do so without the services of Lucas Noguera Paz. The Argentine Loose Head is yet to make an appearance this season in the English Premiership.

In nearby Bristol the Bears plat host to the Harlequins. Involved as a replacement will be Paul Lasike. The USA mid-fielder is to be the first of four Eagles playing in Week 4 of the English Premiership.

In North-west England AJ MacGinty will start at fly half for the Sale Sharks. He is to be joined by Marland Yarde who will play on the left wing. Yarde is capped by England but was born in St, Lucia. Sale play host to the Wasps.

Two fixtures will take place to close the round on Sunday, both of which will include Americas’ players. Back from Rugby Championship duty is Gastón Cortés. He will play as a replacement for the Leicester Tigers against the Worcester Warriors. On the Worcester bench will be Eagles hooker Joe Taufete’e while Callum Black will start at Loose Head. Black turned down playing for the USA this past June.

In the final fixture of Week 4 Saracens host Gloucester in Northern London. Eagles prop Titi Lamositele will feature from the bench. Not involvement through injury are Pumas Juan Figallo and Marcelo Bosch. Also missing out is Mariano Galarza who will not play the match for Gloucester.
