Nico Costa Scores First Try in Mitre 10 Cup

Nico Costa scored his first try in the Mitre 10 Cup. The scrum-half was a replacement for Southland who played host to Counties Manukau.

In a highly entertaining match Southland were beaten 43-26 by the visitors from New Zealand’s North Island. Costa was a replacement for the home side and went over for a try on full-time. The score saw Southland collecting a bonus point.

Aged 23, Costa is from Argentina. Prior to playing in New Zealand the Buenos Aires scrum-half had also lived in Abu Dhabi and Spain New Zealand.
