Moyano Scores Try of the Week

Ramiro Moyano’s try against New Zealand has been named by SANZAAR as the Try of the Week. The Argentine left winger crossed for the opening score of the test match in Nelson, fooling three All Blacks defenders in the process.

Moyano got a pass on the halfway line. He was marked by fly half Richie Mo’unga, whom he fooled by switching the ball from his left hand to hold it with both hands, indicating he was going to kick. At the same time he stepped inside Mo’unga who before stepping back to catch TJ Perenara off guard as well as Codie Taylor.

The try was the second of the Rugby Championship scored by Moyano. He scored a second half try in the win over South Africa in Mendoza. Moyano is part of an inform back-three with Emiliano Boffelli (fullback) and Bautista Delguy (right wing) all having scored tries in the tournament.

The same trio is expected to start against Australia this coming Saturday. The Wallabies will have home advantage against Los Pumas on the Gold Coast. They go into the game after having defeated South Africa in Brisbane this past Saturday.
