Big Wins for Costa Rica, Peru in Sudamérica U19s

The 2018 Sudamérica Rugby U19s are underway. On the opening day in San José big wins were recorded by Costa Rica, and Peru over Panama and Guatemala respectively. The competition will conclude tomorrow.

Day one of the Sudamérica U19s saw two matches played per team. In the first series of matches Peru impressed against Panama, winning 60-0. Costa Rica, meanwhile, won a narrow contest 17-12 against Guatemala.

In the second matches neither Costa Rica nor Peru were challenged by their opponents. Costa Rica defeated Panama 50-0 while Peru hammered Guatemala 90-0.

The tournament is being staged at the campo del Liceo Franco Costarricense in Concepción de Tres Ríos, just north of the Costa Rican capital.
