Scotland will host Canada’s Senior Women’s side at the home of Glasgow Warriors – Scotstoun Stadium – on November 27. The match will be part of Canada’s end-of-year European tour, with further matches yet to be confirmed. Scottish Rugby confirmed the fixture on Wednesday.
It will be the seventh test between the two nations. Canada have won five of the six thus far, their only loss the first meeting at Boroughmuir in 1994. They have not faced each other since the 2010 World Cup when they played twice, Canada winning both by a combined score of 78-10.
Currently ranked 11th in the world, Scotland did not qualify for the 2017 World Cup. Canada are currently ranked 4th and finished 5th in Ireland. The European tour will be the first Senior Women’s matches for Canada since the end-of-year tour to England in 2017.
