Andrés Bordoy Joins Jaguares Coaching Staff

Andrés Bordoy has joined the Jaguares’ coaching staff, doing so from France. The former Pumas prop will join the Gonzalo Quesada regime after 8 year coaching Pau, a club now firmly in the Top 14.

From Rosario, Bordoy played his club rugby for Duendes, the same club as Juan Imhoff and Jerónimo de la Fuente. He would play for Argentina U19s and U21s before becoming a professional player.

France would be his home beginning in 2007. He would play for Brive from 2007-2008 and La Rochelle from 2008-2011. Also in 2011 he was selected for Argentina and in June 2012 he would make his debut, playing two tests against France.

The tests against France would be his only test match experience. It came when he was back playing for Pau who he rejoined in 2011 and played with for an additional two years.

Upon ending his playing career Bordoy would join the Pau coaching staff and now after eight years he is returning to Argentina to join the Jaguares coaching staff.
