Juan Imhoff scored a try as Racing 92 opened the new Top 14 season in style. The Argentine speedster crossed for an intercept try to see the Parisians completing a 25-9 away win over Toulon.
Racing 92’s win was one of three away victories in week 1 of the Top 14. The others saw Castres downing Montpellier, and Stade Français defeating Perpignan in what was the Catalan’s return match from the Pro D2.
Following the victory Imhoff tweeted his congratulations to Los Pumas. In what was a record victory margin Argentina defeated South Africa 32-19 in Mendoza on Saturday.
Playing in Imhoff’s position were Ramiro Moyano and rookie Bautista Delguy. They scored one and two tries respectively in the match, rounding off a solid day for Argentine wingers.
