Glendale Raptors book five Fall Fixtures

Having recently provided opposition for the Collegiate All-American selection finale, the Glendale Raptors have confirmed five exhibition fixtures to be played starting in mid-September. The schedule will hand early opportunities for prospective talent to break into the Major League Rugby side, with the regular season to begin in late January.

Kicking off the run of games is a match in Toronto against the Ontario Arrows, who might well be elevated to full MLR status by the September 16 date. The other four matches will be played on successive Saturdays in October, three on home turf at Infinity Park.

A local derby against one of the most recognized clubs in Division 1 rugby – the Denver Barbarians – will take place on October 6. Home-and-away matches against the Utah Warriors follow with the second to be played in Salt Lake City. The fourth match is against collegiate super-power Life University.
