Uruguay U20s Depart for Junior World Trophy in Romania

Uruguay U20s depart today for the Junior World Trophy in Romania. Head Coach Mario Lamé has named a 26-man roster to compete in the competition which starts on August 28.

The prestigious World Rugby event will be played in Bucharest, Romania from August 28 – September 09. Uruguay is to be one of eight competitors and will play for matches.

September 09 is to be finals day with teams playing against an opponent based on how they perform in the group stage. Uruguay will face Fiji, Canada, and Portugal in pool play. The other pool consists of Romania, Samoa, Hong Kong, and Namibia.
