Trinidad & Tobago set for CAC Games

Trinidad & Tobago have named their squad for the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Games. The team will be looking to maintain their spot as medal winners at the competition. They won Bronze at the 2014 event in Vera Cruz, Mexico.

Seven players who were part of that squad have returned including captain Joseph Quashie and top finisher Agboola Silverthorn. The other returnees are Shakir Flemming, Wayne Kelly, Aasan Lewis, James Philip, and Keishon Walker. Another – Christopher Hudson – has been named in the travelling reserve list.

Rugby sevens will take part across two days at the competition beginning on August 1. Other competing men’s sides are Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico, and Venezuela.
