Moyano Out of Super Rugby Quarter Final

Ramiro Moyano is out of Saturday’s Super Rugby Quarter Final. The Jaguares winger was injured in training on Tuesday making him unable to be considered to play against the Lions.

The extent of the injury sees Moyano returning to Argentina with a hamstring injury. His spot in the team is set to go to Sebastián Cancelliere who will join Bautista Delguy as the starting wingers.

Moyano started this past weekend’s match against the Sharks at fullback. He did so with Delguy and Cancelliere playing on the wings. For the Quarter Final Emiliano Boffelli is to return to the starting team at fullback.

Mario Ledesma will name his line-up for Saturday’s Quarter Final on Thursday. Based on the team that trained together on Monday and Tuesday the side will be heavily altered from that which faced the Sharks this past weekend.

Pablo Matera has been cleared to play in the Quarter Final. Having been cited, the Jaguares skipper was found guilty of foul play and suspended for two weeks. The offense was today overturned, enabling him to play on Saturday.
