Victor Damian Arias Signs for Bourg-en-Bresse

Argentine prop Victor Damian Arias has signed for Bourg-en-Bresse. He will make the move to the eastern French club for the upcoming Pro D2 season, completing the move from Montauban.

The 28-year-old Arias is a former Pumita, playing for Argentina U20’s in 2010. In 2014 he would play for the Argentina XV, doing so well after he began his professional rugby career in France.

From Lince Rugby Club in Tucumán, Arias departed for France in 2012, joining Dax. He played for the club  from 2012-2015 before joining Montauban whom he spent the next three seasons with, playing for them from 2015-2018.

His new club, Bourg-en-Bresse, is to be his third in France’s second division. His contract with the club is a one-year-deal. The move is likely to see him continuing to receive regular game time. Arias signs for Bour-en-Bresse having played 80 Pro D2 matches for Dax and 44 for Montauban.
