Jamaica, USA South Impress on Day One of RAN Women’s 10

Jamaica, and the USA South impressed on Day One of the 2018 RAN Women’s 10. Played in Mexico City the Women’s 10’s is part of the 2018 Rugby Americas North (RAN) Super Week.

The USA South opened with a dominant 48-0 victory over the Bahamas. They would follow it up by winning again later on in the day, defeating hosts Mexico 26-14.

Also claiming two wins on Day One was Jamaica. The Crocs won an evenly fought contest 17-14 against Mexico in their first match while they defeated the Bahamas 29-15 in their second.

The RAN Women’s 10’s will resume on Friday morning. As was the case on Day One there are to be four Women’s 10’s matches on Day Two. At the end of Day Two RAN will crown its 2018 Champions.

The Super Week runs until Saturday. It will see the third and final match day of the RAN Men’s U19’s. Mexico and the USA South are yet to lose thus far. They will contest the final on Saturday while Jamaica and the Cayman Islands will play in the remaining fixture.
