Cedaro Returns to Mont de Marsan

Leandro Cedaro is returning to Mont de Marsan. The 30-year-old from Chaco province in Argentina has signed a three-year-deal with the French club which sees him on his way back to the side from Agen.

Before joining Agen last year Cedaro played for La Rochelle, enjoying a highly successful five years (2012-2017) at the club. La Rochelle was his third French club following Mont de Marsan (2010-2012) and Vannes (2009-2010).

His new three-year-deal with Mont de Marsan will see him wearing the club’s colors from 2018-2021. The club is in France’s second division, the Pro D2 and is currently recruiting to build a competitive roster ahead of the 2018-2019 season. Among the new arrivals is Uruguayan Agustín Ormaechea who, like Cedaro, returns to the club.

Qualifying for Italy via family eligibility Cedaro was called-up to tour South Africa in 2013. He made his test debut against Scotland in Pretoria as part of a one-off South African Quadrangular tournament during the 2013 June Internationals.

Despite not being capped since 2013 an international recall by Italy is far from being out of the question. Italy’s needs have seen veteran flanker Alessandro Zanni converted to second-row.
